Due to the economy, the Helen Gilmore Learning Center has recently downsized. After 21 years in business, it is no longer in a large building with tutoring studios, etc. Now, Dr. Gilmore works alone out of a small library in the Calvary United Methodist Church, Lake Worth, a few hours per day, tutoring about a 16 students per week. The tutoring takes place after school Monday through Thursdays. She couldn’t bring herself to retire . . . ugh! It’s working fine. Teaming with Mr. Robert Templeton, school psychologist, she still offers testing for Gifted identification and assessments for Learning Disabilities. She can be reached at 561-346-1687 or through an e-mail to Ask Dr. Gilmore in this website.
