Now that school is over,
And the halls are stilled,
Quietly I meditate,
About the year just filled.

Have I done the right things
For each and every child?
Have I planned the right way
For boisterous and for mild?

Have I said the right words?
Encouraged those in need?
Kept quiet at the right times?
Allowed EACH to succeed?

Have I grown as well as they?
Perceived new ways to guide?
The answers lie within each child,
I only know, I’ve tried.

When you write,
You must proofread
It’s easy - give it a try!
First, write a paragraph
Then you check.
Commas, periods,
Just takes a sec!

When you proofread,
Don’t leave out spelling.
It must make sense every time,
So it’s 1, 2, 3 times you check,
‘Till your writing’s fine.
